Spring Creek

I haven't updated your blog forever. There isn't really that much going on in our lives lately. We have been hard at work and loving having all the weekends to spend time together. We are headed out to Spring Creek for the 2 time this month. We are going for Nolan's memorial ride. We are so glad we have such a great family and love to spend time with them. I have been really busy this month I have passed my IV cert. test and now can start IV in the hospital. I am also working on my recert... for my EMT license. Jett has school again this next week and has now successfully passed one more semester with the Union, and will now get a little raise... Good job Jettie!
We haven't found the right house yet but plan on looking for one in the future. I also got a new church calling I am a primary teacher I am pretty excited about it. I will see how it goes in the next few weeks.

Houses

Still in the process of trying to buy a house. We had made an offer on a house in Hyrum, but a few weeks before we suppose to close on it, it burn down. I am so thankful for the warning, I guess Hevenly Father knows what is best and sometimes our questions when we pray get answered in a very dramatic way... So we are still looking and have found another house we really like in Richmond. We are still trying to figure out what is going to be best but that is what has happened in the last little while.
Also I planned a suprise B-day party for Jett and I actually pulled it off with out him knowing I am so proud of myself. No pictures are avalible from the party because of the batteries were dead in the camera...but I took some with my friends camera so hopefully shortly they will be shown. Happy 27th birthday JETTIE..

Christmas and Buying a house (what a combo)

So awhile ago I posted that we were considering moving to Spring Creek to be closer to Jett's Mom and little sister. After a few months and some revaluating we have decided that we really needed to consider what was best for us and our future family. I know it sounds mean but we have decided to stay here in Logan...(Hyrum) in the long run we can both advance in our Careers here and have room to grow in what we are doing, and financial it is just a better option for us to stay here. So Jett went and looked at a house tonight, I am going to look at it tomorrow and see if I like the location, the house and everything then we are going to go from there. I know that buying a house is a huge step, but we are ready to take that step and then, I guess we will just have to see were it goes from there.
Also for Christmas we are going out to Spring Creek to be with Jett's family I know that this is going to be a hard Holiday Season. I am glad that I have such a great family to spend it with and hope that I can be comforting and as helpful as they need me to be for them. I am so grateful to have such an amazing husband I am so thankful he takes such great care of me..I know that this was one of the major characteristics that he got from his DAD..We miss him more than words can express, but are so grateful for the time that we had to spend with him.

We went to BearLake this weekend after being home sick with H1N1 all week it was fun to get away from the house and finally start to feel good again.

Thinking about life and were I am going.

I have been thinking a lot about life and contemplating what I have ahead of me in the next few years. I am so grateful for my husband and what a great person he is. I can honestly say I am happy with my life and don't know what else I would really change about it right now. I love my family and were I live and my job.

NEVADA

So I just am letting everyone know that next summer we are planning on moving to Spring Creek. Not only to be closer to Jett's mom and sister hopefully for a better job opportunity. Jett is going to be able to go through his same program out there, but much faster. I am nervous for the move, but know that any big change great things can come. I am going to be looking for a job soon, if anyone has some connections let me know.

What a Summer

I haven't posted anything for such a long time, because I guess alot has been going on! For those of you who don't already know Jett's dad passed away almost 2 months ago. This is some thing that we thought could never happen, not to us. Jett is doing ok I guess as good as you can expect. I am so proud of him, I saw an awsome side that I don't get to see as much as I would like. When we went out to Nevada after every thing happend he gave his mom and all his sisters a blessing, and he gave a great talk about this dad he did such a great job. I know that I am so lucky to be married to such a great Priesthood holder. He also dedicated the grave sight. This is some thing that no child sould have to do, to let go of their parent to early. We appreciate everyones support through this hard time. JETT I love you and I am glad that we are sealed in the temple forever. Familys can be together forever!!

Weight and Summer

So as I am sitting here at work with nothing to do. I have been thinking about how I went to try on pants and wasn't to happy about the size I have to get now. So tell me what you girls think how come in some jeans you can wear a 6 and others you have to go all the way up to a 9. I don't understand so I was feeling a little bad about this and then came to realize, I am the only person to blame for this I haven't been working out and I really need to start again. I need to lose a few pounds for the summer and it is coming very fast. So I have until the end of August 3 months to see if I can lose a few more pounds. I do know that I feel lots better when I work out and I also look a lot better. I have no excuse now I am posting this and everyone is going to want to see how I do.

California

Jett and I just had our 3 year anniversary. To celebrate it we decided to go on a trip. Since we have been so poor, and haven't really had the option to do this in the past it sounded like a really fun idea. We ended up going down to San Diego. While we were there we did alto of fun things. It started out by leaving our house at 5 in the morning so we could catch the first flight out. While we were driving to the airport the moon was out, as we were driving out of the canyon. It was hitting the water it was so pretty so I got the camera out to take a picture, since I planned special to bring it this time so we could have tons of pictures. When I went to turn it on it was dead the battery wasn't charged. I was so mad I really wanted to have lots of fun pictures. So that is the story why there are no pictures.
While we were there we went to Old Town, and walked around just hanging out not doing much and it felt so good. Then we ate at this great Mexican restaurant. It was so good, we made our way back to the hotel and decided that we should go to a movie. We went to see the new X-MEN movie. When I went to go and buy the tickets Jett was in the bathroom, so I said to the guy we wanted 2 tickets to the X-MEN movie. He said that would be 22 dollars, I said to him I just wanted 2 tickets, He said it was still 22 dollars. 11 bucks a ticket no wonder no one goes to the movies in Cali. if they do they are not from there. We had a great first day and figured that we ended up walking about 7 miles that day, thanks to my pedometer. That Jett lost on the trip.
Day 2 we went to the REDBULL air races. Jett say them last year on TV and ever since wanted to go see them. We bought tickets in advance and it ended up being alot cooler then I thought it would be. Pilots from all over the world come to be in this show. One guy got disqualified because he hit 12 Gs and since that would make you pass out he had to stop the race. We did that most of the day and I was sad and happy at the same time about how the weather was this day. It was cool and over cast and I had to wear a sweater, but then again I would have be burnt if it wasn't like this. Then we went to Joe's Crab Shack to eat dinner. After we were done eating Jett wanted to buy a T-shirt from there and we were looking around and I was just hanging out kind of resting. I had on this cool white hat and a surf sweater. This guy was looking at me kind of weird, but I didn't think anything about until he came up to me and was freaking out. He said that he thought I was a Manichean I just had this cool hat and sweater on, I told him he must have had to much to drink. He started to laugh and felt really dumb it was so funny. Thanks to the hotel we stayed in we were able to figure out the trolley system and took that our whole trip which saved up tons of money.
The last day we headed down to the pier and didn't have much planned for the day. We ended up going on a tour of the USS MIDWAY. It was pretty fun and we got to see lots of cool planes that they had on to top of the aircraft boat. I am sure I would get lost on that boat it was so big. We the went on a fairy to Coronado Island played in the very cold ocean for awhile went and eat. We decided to have Greek which is my favorite kind of food. It was a little tiny resturant, and I was worried about how good it would be. It was such good food and it is funny how sometimes the best places to eat are like that. I ended up with some cute things that I purchased. I got some really cool new sunglasses, I got a cute sweater (surfer one), and I got a cute hippie skirt.
All in all it was a very fun vacation and well needed one. I am so glad I have someone I can have so much fun with, I really do think I married my very best friend. LOVE YOU JETT 3 YEARS AND MANY MORE.
Also we do have to thank Jamie for the Tickets and Becky for the great hotel we were able to stay in.

Snowboarding

Next time I post I will have to post some pics of me actually on the moutain.

So for all of you that knew me in High School and in College. You know how much I love to snowboard. So this last week I ended up going 3 days I went Mon, Wed, Fri. I was so much fun and there was tons of powder. I am really liking Beaver now that I have gone a few times. So hopefully these pictures will post.

Family Pictures in Elko

So I am a little late, but what can you do I changed my background for Valentines day and it ended up taking me 2 hours to get everything I wanted back on my page. I guess I am going to keep this for awhile sorry everyone I am not going to change again anytime soon.
We did get to spend Christmas in Nevada with Jett's family it was so much fun! We had such a good time. You guessed right I didn't bring my camera, but we did get family pictures.
I know everyone must hate to read my blog because I am some times jumbled with what I write about. I will post me soon and when I figure out how to put a picture that is on my phone on to the computer I will show you some snowboarding pics.

Update

I haven't posted any thing forever and I don't really know if anyone reads my blog anyway. I guess I will keep those who do read this updated. I have been really busy the last month I finally joined a gym and started to work out again which was much needed. Starting at the first of the year in January to be more specific, I am starting the biggest loser at work it should be fun, and hopefully I can get into better shape. I had been studying for my EMT cert. and good news I took the test and passed now I just have to do the hands on stuff and hopefully that will go well and I will still be a EMT-B. Jett has started his new job working for Wasatch Electric and now is working graveyards and that isn't fun I don't get to see him to much, but he likes his job so I guess that is what counts.
I have also been thinking about what I am grateful for since it is Thanksgiving today and I am at work. When is a better time to think about this. I am so thankful for my family, and friends I am so glad that I live in Utah and am able to be close to them so I can spend lots of time together. I am so grateful for my good health I haven't been sick and have felt pretty good this last year and am glad that I can still do the things I want to do. I am grateful for my husband and all that he has to put up with. I am sorry I don't cook much and that we both hate to do the dishes so it piles up pretty high. I am grateful that I am living in a house were I can have a Christmas tree this year and can't wait to put it up I love Christmas and hope that I can still have as much as I did when I was a little kid. Hopefully our cats won't tip over the tree to much. I am happy with my life hope that my life can just keep getting better.

Catch up

The last month or so I have been training the "new be's" at work. I am glad it is over I felt really tired when I would come home after work and that was funny because I felt like I didn't even do that much. I also had my evaluation and I passed with flying colors and I think everyone likes me. I know they do I can't believe that I have been working as a cardiac tech. for over a year now and I still am loving it. I seriouly learn something new all the time and it is so much fun to help others prolong their life and hopefully live a happy healther life.
Jett and I have been trying to decided what is going to be best for him as he is getting into finding a new job and hopefully getting trained to do eletrical stuff. It had been a long process and is definitily taking longer then we anticipated, lets hope and pray that he gets job soon.
This passed week my little brother had a football game here in Logan and it was so fun to go and watch him. Logan's team last year took state and it was said that Morgan was going to get killed, but guess what Morgan pulled through in the finally half and beat Logan. I am proud of my little brother and thought that I would be nice and go to one of his games, since he had to go to the summer games with me every year and watch me play soccer.
Also wanted to congratulate Lyndsi on having he little boy, it took him a little bit to get here but we are glad that he is here and that he is such a cute little guy. For Jett's family if they even read this we are really excited to spend Christmas together and can't wait to relaxe and spend quality time with family. We miss everyone and hope to see you soon.

Running

So I decided that I am going to start to run again. I think that if I run it helps me keep my weight down, with out me having to modify my diets. So I decided I would get up in the morning and go out and run before I have to head to work. I go to this back road for now so that no one can really see how out of shape I am. Well I went today and everything was going pretty good, other than I was dying and I hadn't even made it that far. So when I get to the end of the road there is this gate, I was leaning on the gate to get ready to start to run back. When I feel this sting on my head, I thought that it was a mosquito or something, because this sting hurt pretty bad I wasn't really sure what it was. To my surprise there was a big nest of wasps, I start to book it out of there but I got sting two times in the head and once in the arm. I get home and run in and told Jett what happened, he was so sweet and very concerned with what happened. To finish the story I am ok the stings on my head hurt pretty bad and the one on my arm has gone away. I am sorry my blog sucks latley I haven't posted any pictures for a long time.

Babysitting

My cute Niece, and Nephew came up for the weekend and I got to babysit them. They are so cute even if my Niece sometimes pushes my buttons, she kind of knows what things bug me, and she does them on purpose. I will post some pics as soon as I find my camera.

Good News!

Good News everyone, it is not what you think it is. Jett and I both passed our big tests we had to take. I got a raise and hopefully Jett will be able to start his program soon. Other then that I have worked 11 days in a row and I am ready for a break. Jett's sister is having a baby shower and she is due on Sept. 17th so it is coming soon. I will have a new nephew.

Testing

The past month my work sent me to a class. For those of you who don't know what I do for my job I work in the hospital as a Cardiac Tech and ECG specialist. Anyways I went this class so i can be able edit ECG's before the doctors actually read them. I have been studying hard, but have been slacking off he last 2 weeks and this next week I have to take the test. If I pass I get a 2 dollar raise, sweet huh. I am going to have to study like crazy this next week.
Jett also I going to have to take a test for electrician school, he is going to take it this week. He said that he thinks he will do ok on it. For everyone who knows Jett and knows Me. Knows that I freak out about tests I always have and when it comes to Jett I am lucky to know if he has a test. Wish us luck and hope for the best!!

4th of July

I just wanted to up date everyone on what we did for the 4th of July. When we first started this blog Jett didn't want to do it, because he said that we didn't really have anything intresting going on in our lives. I wanted to do it anyway, so some days I have better posts then others.
On the 4th we were able to go out to Elko to visit Jett's famliy. While we were getting ready to leave on Friday I didn't get off of work until 9 and then Jett wanted to leave after work. I just happen to get sick at work, I think I ate something bad. Anyway I was needing to go to the bathroom every 30 min. I didn't know how I was going to make it on the drive out there, so I thought that if I slept then that would be a little better. I did just that and poor Jett was left with no one to talk to on the long drive to Nevada. I made it to Wells which is just outside of Elko and when I got to the gas station I ran into the bathroom. As I was going to the bathroom the cleaning lady came in, I told her I was sorry and that I was really sick, she looked at me like I was stupid so I was glad that I wouldn't have to see her ever again.
The next day we went to Elko and went to Hancook I thought that the movie was really good, but did have some swearing in it I sound so churchy, but you know I try not to watch really bad shows. That night we went back to Jett's parents and had dinner and then went watch fireworks in Spring Creek. (this is were Jett is really from) I didn't really expect to much from the fireworks, but it ended up being a really good show and I really like the music that they played with the fireworks. We sat in the back of the truck in camping chairs and it felt so good, it was perfect weather.
One Saturday Jett woke up and went for a moto ride with his dad. I slept in and that felt great since I was still kind of sick. We then went for a little hike and when we got up the canyon I felt great it was 78 degrees and just right to hiking. I found some snow when we got up the mountain and decided it would be fun to go on a little ski expedition,(just with my shoes) so I did and Jett came behind me I made it down the hill with out falling,Jett fell right when he started I guess he doesn't really do winter sport as much as I do. I had a great 4th and was glad that I go to spend time with Jett's family I am also glad that we all get along so well.
One of the best things that came from this trip is that we planned for Kylee to come out to Utah and go to Lagoon with us before the summer is over I am really excited, even if I am 23 I still think it is really fun to go to Lagoon. We were going to have Lyndsi come with us because she loves Lagoon too, but thought that wasn't such a good idea since she will be 8 month prego.
